Pelitup Muka Tidak Lagi Diwajibkan di Malaysia

 




KKM ingin mengumumkan bahawa pemakaian pelitup muka di dalam bangunan (indoor) kini adalah atas pilihan (optional).

Walau bagaimanapun pemilik premis boleh menentukan sama ada pengunjung wajib memakai pelitup muka atau boleh memilih untuk memakai pelitup muka. Selain itu orang ramai AMAT DIGALAKKAN memakai pelitup muka kerana ia terbukti mampu mengurangkan penularan jangkitan.

 
Pemakaian pelitup muka masih DIWAJIBKAN bagi situasi berikut: 

i) Kes positif COVID-19; 
ii) Menggunakan perkhidmatan pengangkutan awam seperti bas, kereta api, teksi termasuk perkhidmatan e-hailing, kapal terbang serta bas, van pekerja dan van sekolah; dan 
iii) Semasa berada di fasiliti kesihatan seperti hospital, klinik, rumah penjagaan, pusat hemodialisis, dan yang setara dengannya.
 
KKM juga AMAT MENGGALAKKAN agar pemakaian pelitup muka terus  
diamalkan terutamanya apabila: 
i) Berada di kawasan ramai orang dan sesak seperti pasar malam, stadium, gedung membeli belah dan rumah-rumah ibadah; 
ii) Individu bergejala seperti demam, batuk dan selsema; 
iii) Individu berisiko tinggi seperti warga tua, orang dengan penyakit kronik, individu dengan imuniti rendah dan ibu mengandung; dan 
iv) Melakukan aktiviti bersama orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti warga emas dan kanak-kanak.
 
Keperluan pemakaian pelitup muka di luar bangunan (outdoor) dan kawasan terbuka adalah sama seperti yang diumumkan sebelum ini iaitu tidak diwajibkan. Walau bagaimanapun, KKM menggalakkan agar pemakaian pelitup muka di luar bangunan terus diamalkan sekiranya: 
i) Berada di kawasan ramai orang dan sesak; 
ii) Individu bergejala seperti demam, batuk dan selsema; 
iii) Individu berisiko tinggi; dan 
iv) Melakukan aktiviti bersama orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti warga emas dan kanak-kanak.

Protokol baharu ini akan MULA BERKUAT KUASA SERTA MERTA PADA HARI INI, 7 SEPTEMBER 2022. KKM akan terus memantau situasi COVID- 19 di dalam dan luar negara selain memastikan kesiapsiagaan perkhidmatan  
kesihatan berada dalam keadaan yang optima bagi memastikan kesejahteraan rakyat dalam menghadapi COVID-19. Kelonggaran yang  
diberikan ini bukanlah bermakna orang ramai boleh memandang ringan risiko jangkitan COVID-19.
